Privacy Policy for Nextech Systems Apps
Last updated: 6 August 2026
This privacy policy explains how the mobile applications published by Nextech Systems (“we”, “us”, “our”) handle your information. It applies to every app we publish unless an individual app’s store listing or in-app notice says otherwise.
For privacy questions, contact us at nextech@nextechsystems.com.au.
Summary
- We do not run our own servers and we do not collect personal data directly.
- Settings and progress for each of our apps are stored only on your device.
- Some apps display ads via Google AdMob, and some offer in-app purchases via Google Play Billing. Those services collect their own data, described below.
Data we collect
None directly. Our apps do not transmit your settings, content, or usage to any server we control.
Data collected by third parties
Google AdMob
Some of our apps display ads using Google AdMob. AdMob collects information including:
- Advertising ID
- IP address
- Device type, OS version, language
- Ad interactions (impressions, clicks)
This data is used to serve and measure ads, prevent fraud, and apply frequency capping. Google’s handling of this data is governed by the Google Privacy Policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy
You can reset or limit your Advertising ID in your device settings (Settings → Google → Ads).
If an app offers a “Remove Ads” purchase and you complete it, AdMob is no longer initialised in that app and no further ad-related data is collected by us through it.
Google Play Billing
In-app purchases, where offered, are processed by Google Play Billing. Google handles the transaction, including your payment information; we only receive a confirmation that the purchase succeeded. See Google’s payments policy for details.
Data stored on your device
Each app stores its own settings and progress locally using the Android system’s preferences and file storage. Depending on the app, this may include saved sessions, statistics, custom preferences, sound or theme choices, and purchase status. None of it leaves your device unless you explicitly export or share it from within the app.
How we keep your data secure
We take the security of user data seriously and apply the following practices:
- Data stays on your device. Because we operate no servers and collect no personal data ourselves, there is no central store of user data for us to hold, transfer, or expose.
- Protected local storage. Data our apps write is stored in the app’s private storage area, isolated by the Android application sandbox so that other apps on the device cannot read it.
- Encryption in transit. All network communication performed by the third-party services our apps embed (Google AdMob and Google Play Billing) takes place over encrypted HTTPS/TLS connections. Our apps make no unencrypted network requests.
- Minimal data handling. Our apps request only the permissions their features require and collect no personal or sensitive user data, which removes the need to transmit, process, or store it.
- Vetted third parties. The only third-party services our apps integrate are Google AdMob and Google Play Billing, which apply Google’s own security and data-protection standards, described at https://policies.google.com/privacy
Data retention and deletion
- Data on your device is kept for as long as the app is installed. You can delete all of it at any time by uninstalling the app, or by using Android’s Settings → Apps → [app name] → Storage → Clear data. No copy is retained by us, because no copy is ever sent to us.
- Data collected by Google AdMob and Google Play Billing is retained and deleted according to Google’s own policies. You can review and delete advertising data, or reset your Advertising ID, through your Google account and device settings.
- Correspondence. If you email us with a privacy question, we keep that email only as long as needed to answer you. To have it deleted, write to nextech@nextechsystems.com.au and we will remove it.
- Deletion requests. To request deletion of any data you believe we hold, contact nextech@nextechsystems.com.au. We will respond within 30 days.
Permissions
Each app requests only the permissions required for its features. The Play Store listing for each app discloses the full set of permissions it uses. Common permissions across our apps include:
- Notifications — for in-app alerts
- Internet — to display ads via AdMob (only in apps that show ads)
- Billing — to process in-app purchases (only in apps that offer them)
Apps with specialised features may request additional permissions; these are disclosed in each app’s store listing. We do not request location, microphone, contacts, calendar, SMS, or camera image access in any of our apps unless that app explicitly states otherwise in its store listing, and any such permission is used only for the disclosed feature.
Children
Our apps are not directed at children under 13. If you believe a child has used one of our apps in a way that requires action, contact us at nextech@nextechsystems.com.au.
Data sale
We do not sell personal information.
Changes to this policy
If we update this policy, we will change the “Last updated” date above. Material changes will be reflected in store release notes for the affected apps.
